Biography
The chamber orchestra Concentus Hungaricus (Artistic Director Hegyi Ildikó), consisting of sixteen members, was founded in Budapest, Hungary in 1985. This Hungarian radio broadcast station orchestra is considered Hungary’s representative chamber orchestra. They have played concerts, both in their country and abroad, and made recordings with world-renowned soloists such as Jeno Jando and highly respected guest-conductors such as Mátyás Antal.
